CONCLUSIONS AND PERSPECTIVES
- Results obtained with ground based radiometric measurements
show that remote sensed data can improve simulations results
- However for spatializing the vegetation functioning model
with satellite image, other issues will need to be addressed:
1) input meteorological data will need to be spatialized
2) satellite remote sensed data will need to be correctly
corrected from geometrical and atmospherical effects
3) more robust assimilation methods such as Kalman
filtering will be tested for possible improvements

method using satellite remote sensed data (GOES and METEOSAT satellite)
